The openSPOT takes the C4FM formatted voice and/or data from a Yaesu radio and links it to the internet via WiFi and and a router or Cellular Access Point (AP).

• The operator directs the openSPOT to connect to a room in either an FCS or YSF Reflector where other Hams can join in a QSO.
• openSPOTs cannot connect to Yaesu's network.
